Men seem to move on so quickly, they find another person to be with and are out dating and partying like they never cared about is at all... it feels like our relationship meant nothing - seriously, did they not love us at all?
Well the truth is they did but there are several reason they seem to move on really quickly and its got nothing to do with how they felt about you.
Women are really good at finding a support network, crying, talking, letting all the feeling out...and men... not so much. When a relationship ends they fill the void. Rather than sit at home and eat the entire contents of the fridge they go out with their mates and yes, meet women. They find someone to focus attention on both and not only does it stop the bad feelings of missing you but it also strokes their ego, and that's important. If they were the one to leave the relationship they will probably tell the new woman all about how dreadful you were, they will say how awful they;'ve been treated and she will tell him he's done the right thing, and they will get the confirmation they need that they behaved in the right way... because being right is VERY important.
Have you ever told a man he's wrong? Yeah - they hate that... they want to be right and if they've left someone as awesome as you and I then they look for any way possible to confirm that they have made the right decision. They will tell a version of the split to their friends and family that makes you out to be the wife from hell and they will all convince him that he was a superhero putting up with it all for so long.
Does it seem fair ? No definitely not. Just remember, he deals with pain one way and you deal with it another, don't judge the situation by how you deal with it but focus on yourself, your healing and keep moving forward to your bright new future.
